Project #1 - Taiwan (Part 1)

Well, i got the chance to come here early of August 2008 or on the 3rd to be exact, for business trip and i will here for the next 2 months at least, but going by on 1 month interval. Anyway, i took off from Penang airport on China Airline plane bound straight to Taipei which took 4 hour and 30 minutes. The plane was kinda small with no individual screens to look at movies or play games as this plan model, 737-800, was kinda out dated as well. Nonetherless, it help us to reach safely, so, all the thanx to it anyway.
By the time we arrive, it was already dark, at 7.30pm, and to my astonishment, we were greeted by a high-class taxi which the company has chauffeur for us, a Mercedes Benz S350 which cost that guy T$5.5 million which makes up to RM550k. Fuhyo, damn big man and i was admiring it all the way till my apartment. I got a lot of story and pictures to show off below.

Another thing that i notice while in Taiwan is that, the place is quite dusty.........and i do mean dusty and not dirty ok. Dusty in the sense of a lot of small debris and particles in the air that even the Taiwan people themselves can't stand it. Almost everyone here wear a face mask when riding motorcycle. Even I can feel the air is dusty.
Another thing is that, if you can see properly from many of the pictures, almost all of the motorcycles that they are using is from scooter model but i can sometime see a big motor bike as well but that's all. There is no Honda EX5 100cc or something similar to that.

Sunday 24th Aug 2008, mark another trip for me to Taipei and this time, i went there with only a colleague of mine as the rest has gone back to respective country or so called, hometown. Mine would be next week, so this week......partyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. Anyway, just like last time, we went to Taipei by bus. This time our destination is Ximending, Sun Yet Sen Memorial Hall, Taipei 101 and ....errr.....errr......that's all actually because we were damn exhausted as we have been walking all day long and we decided to go back by 4pm. Also, the weather at that time was not really on our side as it was raining cats and dogs and thus, we decided to head home.

Ximending. A place in Taipei which has all the shops that suite the younger generation people. Shopping mall, fast food and many more. Not a bad place. You can arrive here thru metro train which stops at Ximen station

Well, tomolo will be my last day here for the 1st month as i going to go back on Saturday (30th Aug 2008) with the morning flight strait from Taipei to Penang airport.
My stay here has mark the 1st month i've been out from Malaysia for the one whole month. The longest trip i was in was to Shanghai which only lasted for 1 week but that was one marvelous week to say the least. Anyway, my stay here in Taiwan, i can say not a bad one but to tell you the truth, i prefer to stay in Penang rather then here as most of the thing that can be seen or eaten here, i would say, Penang has most of it and i believe is better not to mention cheaper.
Well, i manage to taste their smelly tou-fu and boy, wat an experience.........the taste exactly like the smell.......terrible.......and i do not know why people here like it so much......you can see it every where you go. I was told my by colleague that the one i ate was the wet one which taste more .......err.....errr.....terrible but for the fried one, its actually taste better. Because of that bad experience, now i'm having nightmare whenever i see one tou-fu in front of me as i do not know whether its the smelly tou-fu or the normal one. You guys would say, how come this guy so stupid, u can know one just by the smell........i would say yes....you are rite but to tell you the truth, my nose kinda got defect a little bit after the smell......kekekeke........its unbearable to tell you the truth.

Smelly tou-fu up close and damn personal. Looks like any other ordinary tou-fu lads.
