Project #2 - Germany => Neuschwanstein Castle

22th January 2009
Last weekend, I manage to take the chance to go to once of the famous castle in the world and some said, it was recorded down as the 8th Wonder of the World. Most of you might know this castle but to some, i bet they did not know this castle ever existed except in fairy tale story. Well, I can tell you one thing, this castle does exist and its still looks like a fairy tale castle to me.

The castle that i meant is the one and only, Neuschwanstein Castle, which is the main model for the very own Disneyland trademark castle. I actually never heard of it until i arrive in Germany about 2 months back and since then, i've make this trip a must in one of my weekend here. I'm not going to tell you much about the castle since you can read it online (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neuschwanstein_Castle) but i'm going to tell you how i manage to go there from the place i stay.

Project #2 - Germany => Deutsches Museum

10th January 2009
Deutsches Museum is our destination this weekend and believe me, its big. It covers most of the technologies man has ever made. Its one of the biggest Museum in Europe as the building itself houses many planes and ships which i can say, that's not the only the things which were on display there. Well, getting there was pretty simple to say the least and you know why, because we have a local friend to get us around....and she is good in doing so. She was our best tour guide of the day as she shows us a lot of things as well as explain a lot of things to us. We really appreciate her help on this.

Generally, we boarded a train from Burghausen at around 7.44am and was heading towards Munich transiting at Muhldorf. When we reached Munich train station, we got off and off we go to another train and this time is rapid-transit that goes by the name of S-bahn. From there, we got off Isartor station and from there, its just about 5 minutes walk to the museum and you definately won't get lost walking there as they have sufficient road sign to bring you there.

Project #2 - Germany => I'm back !!!

6th January 2009
Its that time again where i would be able to look at my favourite nature spectacular event, the snow. I've been looking forward to this trip but then again, after so many mishaps that happen to me during the new year, i intend to end my second trip to Germany with a high note.

Anyway, i'm now in KLIA Airport waiting for my next flight to Dubai from Kuala Lumpur. I have been here for the past 15 hours in KL as we arrive from Penang to KL at 8am flight which only took around 50 minutes. My next flight to Dubai will depart at 12.30am 7th January 2009 (which means i will transit in KL for 16 hours) and will arrive in Dubai at 3.30am local time. I would be transiting in Dubai for the next 6 hours before my flight from Dubai to Munich at around 9am local time and reach Munich 6 hours later. From there, i will proceed with around 1 hour drive to my apartment.
So, the total time I will be taking from Penang to reach Munich should be aroundddddd 34 hours...............i think i will be arriving in Munich in my coffin instead.
