Anyway, with this blog, it means i'm on the go again and this time, it brings me back to the 1st destination i went to back in June 2008 under the same company flagship.
The destination i meant is Republic of Singapore.
This journey is another short destination which is exactly the same when i first came here back in 2008. 3 days is my duration while 15th March 2010 is my arrival date.
My day started at 9.40am where i boarded the plane en route to Singapore via AirAsia and by the time we reach Singapore, it was already 11.30am. We went straight to work at Loyang Way and by the time clock hit 5.00pm, we already started to plan for our trip to the latest tourist place in Singapore......... Sentosa Island where the new Casino is located. The place also house the famous Universal Studio and they will open its door very soon enough. Quite happy to take a few pics there but not enough for me to go in as they haven't open their door to public just yet.
So, to wrap up my first day story, lunch was great with chicken on our main menu. It basically tasted like our famous Ipoh Chicken and it also cost practically the same, around SGD14.90 for half chicken, without conversion of course. Come dinner, we ate at Sentosa Island itself before going to battle inside the Casino. We dine in Chilli which is a small restaurant that serves all the western food like steak, burger and the likes. I ordered BBQ ribs which is quite nice but the portion was too great for me as i can't finish all. Take a look at the picture and you will know why i say so.
Second day started pretty late with me trying on Singapore Loh Mee. Well, i can't say much about the taste except... except......it does not taste like Loh Mee from Penang. I'm not saying it's bad at all but then, the taste just is not like what i'm expecting when I ordered it. With all the difference, the price seems the only thing that is similar....... SGD3.00. With the main course, come the drink......i ordered 'Bandung Ais' and to my amazement, they come in cans.....and they cost SGD1.00.
This breakfast is nothing compare to what i'm going to tell you what we had for lunch. Our destination was Singapore Golf Club. The best part is yet to come. With the price of SGD20.00, you can have all the food listed in the menu. It is so called buffet style but then, they don't put the food out in the open for you to choose but then, you can order what you want straight from the menu and they will make it for you. Do engulf yourselves in all those picture of the food i manage to take. Remember...all this for only SGD20.00 and believe me when i say i was full to the throat with this meal.
For dinner, its nothing much except i took the same thing as when I'm in Penang.... Secret Recipe!!!
The last day of my so called discussion, we did not do much actually since we need to get up early to pack our things as we will be heading home directly work. For breakfast, we practically ate the same thing as the day before as we try to keep it simple so that we could get to work on time.
